As a husband and
wife team, (Darran's the boss when Jennifer lets him
be!)
We
were trying to think of something that we could operate
together from home. With our friend Tracey, initially
creating the business and designing the murals, we were
very fortunate when she offered them to us. Over the
years, we've added other themes and Tracey has kept an
interest by adding designs and ideas and helping us when
we need it.
We
find creating Playscapes, (and now also
Tabletots -
Thanks again to Tracey for her amazing designs)
extremely rewarding, both therapeutically and
financially. "There's an artist and creator in
everyone". It's a business that we get out as much as we
put in. We get as much joy from hearing of our many
happy clients as what their kids get when they see their
murals placed in their rooms.
"A PLAYSCAPES
theme is something that every child deserves in their
bedroom or playroom, not only can it pique a child's
imagination, but it can also double as an educational
aid". Darran and Jennifer should know, as they
begin to start a new family. "We'll be putting some
themes in our own kids bedrooms when they come along."
PLAYSCAPES was created in 1994 and has become bigger and
better with each new year. "Together our aim is to take
PLAYSCAPES to the world."
